I have built a HR system for TTK Prestige company. TTK Prestige Limited is the largest provider of kitchen appliances in the country.
There are two roles in my software
1) Employee
2) HR (admin)

Userid:- nishant.k
Pwd:-pass
Following are functions of employee module:-
1) Add or edit personal information.
2) Fill your timesheet and submit it.

HR (admin):-
Userid: admin
Pwd: pass
1) It can add an employee on joining or delete an employee on exit.
2) Add new clients and projects.
3) Assign project heads.
4) Assign supervisors to the existing active employees.
5) Approve the submitted timesheet of an employee.
6) Generate timesheet report.
7)  Add if there are any vacancies for job in the company.
8) See the submitted resume against any open vacancy.

Reason why I choose this software:-
1 )       It enables easier access to all employee information at one platform.
2 )       It’s highly flexible in deployment options mean that our Human Resource and Payroll solutions is      defined completely as our need.
 3)       Better project management in the sense of project deadline.
4 )      Skill set can be managed well.
5 )      Different userid types can be configured.
6 )      Visibility of different HR functions can be controlled at each level.

Other software explored was SugarCRM.
Reasons  to prefer OrangeCRM over SugarCRM.
1)OrangeCRM is highly user friendly.
2)Better employee information management

Employee satisfaction,Key to organisation sucees

Businesses can make their organization the best place to work by following the below five-step model:
Provide a positive working environment
Recognize, reinforce, and reward each individual's efforts
Involve everyone
Develop the potential of your workforce
Evaluate and measure continuously

Provide a Positive Working Environment

Creating and managing a good organization takes an entirely different approach. Indeed, one-third of the executives surveyed by Robert Half International Inc. now say the work environment is the most critical factor in keeping an employee satisfied in today's business world.

A key aspect is workplace flexibility. For the beginning years when people are single they can work overtime or adhere to strict schedules, but later when they have family and relations to cater, they love to have flexi-hours. Add more family-friendly benefits .Educate your managers and make them more sensitive towards employee needs.
When the mind is free of worries it functions well, our ladies have to play role of nurturer at home and professionals at home .In a survey India has been labelled as the worst place for woman amongst top 19 developing economies. Its a miracle for a woman to survive in India. Even before she is born, she is at risk of being aborted due to our obsession for sons. The biggest reason of adult female death is malnutrition and child birth. We at work place can organise different programs sensitise our workforce about the  special care pregnant ladies need ,we can also  teach the pregnant ladies about importance of nutritious food and proper health care .Currently we have only 4-months maternity leave in private sector I will strongly advocate to be more realistic and increase it to at least 1-year as due to increasing trend of nuclear families in India  family support is reducing .Also  child day care system should be started in all offices where at least 25% employee force is  female. Financial burden can be shared by the employee and employer. This will certainly make ladies relaxed and more productive at work.

Recognize, Reinforce, and Reward Each Individual's Efforts:-
Money is the thing for which people work for, but recognition is what people live for. Awarding people properly and timely is very crucial for work force motivation. We should never ignore employees’ creativity, turnover, absenteeism, morale, strikes, discontent and the like that have their impact on production .The effects of motivation on performance are greatly felt as one moves towards a service-oriented economy which is in order at present. Motivated employees are needed in our rapidly changing workplaces. Motivated employees help organizations survive. Motivated employees are more productive .As the age of employee raises money becomes less motivating, challenging work becomes more of a motivator.

Involve Everyone
Exceptional organizations involve the ideas and suggestions of everyone. The Sony Corporation is well known for its ability to create and manufacture new and innovative products. In order to foster the exchange of ideas within departments, Sony's Corporate Research sponsors an annual Idea Exposition. During the exposition, scientists and engineers display projects and ideas they are working on.  Open only to Sony's employees, the exposition lets individuals share ideas otherwise protected by departmental walls. This process creates a healthy climate of innovation , creativity at all levels of the organization  and a sense of participation and belongingness.
Develop the Potential of Your Workforce
For many people, learning new skills is just as important as the money they make .It gives them creative push and satisfaction. According to a recent study more than 40 percent people would consider leaving their present employer for another job with the same benefits if that job provided better career development and greater challenges.

Evaluate and Measure Continuously
Someone said, "If you don't know where you are going, any road will lead you there." That advice did not work for the Titanic, nor will it work for the business world. Evaluation and measurement must surpass normal accounting procedures like profit and loss, but include measuring turnover, customer satisfaction, employee attitudes, and management effectiveness.
La Rosa's Pizza Company completes a cultural audit once a year, which measures employee's feelings about pay and benefits, care and recognition, etc. Additionally, all employees evaluate their bosses twice a year using an Internal Customer Satisfaction Index. (ICSI)  The ICSI has only four questions, and asks the employees to give their managers a letter grade from A to D in four different categories .Try hard  and make your evaluation as much bias free as much possible.
